Members participate in a Diocesan medical mission trip there as well.
Closer to home, a host of local ministries are supported by Saint John's: a food pantry at
Saint Mary's Chester; CitiTeam Ministries; the Seafarers Institute; the Ethel Merman
Child Development Center and other ministries as the need arises and parishioners feel
called to serve.
Our outreach programs are supported by an annual fund raiser and through the regular
generosity of parishioners and friends of Saint John’s. There is a mission and outreach
position on the vestry, as well as an outreach team to plan and coordinate our efforts and
to consider new ideas.
