You are invited to join Bernie Miller and the Green Team as we are offering another workshop. The topic is the perennial plant called the peony. The best time of year to plant peonies is in autumn. Sunday, November 3rd following the second service at 11:00 meeting in the Battin Room. RSVP for this workshop is required by signing up below. There is a maximum of 20 participants so signup now!
There is a fee of $20.00 for this workshop. Payment can be sent to the church prior to the event via cash/check (made out to St. John’s with Peony in the memo) or via our online Paypal payment system noting Peony at saintjohnsconcord.com/giving.
Each participant will be provided a presentation on peonies, live outdoor demonstration on planting, a peony root to take home and plant along with fertilizer and beneficial fungi. The peony you receive has been locally grown and once planted will provide years of blooms in May. Consider a location in your garden that gets several hours of sun and has good drainage. We hope you can join us.
The funds generated from this workshop will pay for the peony roots and assist on future beautification projects on the church grounds.
