Welcome to the new year in Sunday School! We’re excited to tell you about some changes we’ve made that will make family worship, Children’s Chapel, and Sunday School more accessible (and less stressful) for all. Sunday School follows a theme-based curriculum and generally has about 40 minutes of time for stories, crafts, and learning. This will take place during worship at the 10:00 service: after the Gloria/Song of Praise children will follow the cross to Sunday School  before the lectionary readings start. Kids will be back in time for Communion with their family. This new format will begin January 21st and the theme for Epiphany Season is “Discovering God in ourselves, in others, and in creation.”

We will offer Children’s Chapel at 9:30 so that parents are able to go to Coffee Hour and attend the adult education classes. Children’s Chapel will follow the lectionary while Sunday School will have different themes. These changes are made based on your feedback – so please let Margie Hatcher or Rev Jill know if you have questions or concerns.
